Komodo liveaboard charter

A whole-boat charter for twelve, so the dive-max crew can chase four dives a day while a few non-divers get dragons, snorkels and sun decks - and nobody's on a stranger's schedule. One private boat, up to four dives daily, with the dragon trek and Pink Beach as the days that bring all twelve together.

Day 1 · Board in Labuan Bajo

All twelve ashore - ranger-led trek on Rinca for the Komodo dragons, then back aboard; an easy afternoon dive for those who want it
Day 4 · Central straits, four dives
All dayDive-max day: Batu Bolong, Tatawa, plus a dusk and a night dive

Day 5 · Manta day

What made this trip work

  • Chartering the whole boat meant we set the dive schedule - four-dive days for the keen, easy days for the rest.
  • Having dragons and Padar as land days kept the non-divers fully in the trip, not waiting on deck.
  • Twelve people splits the charter cost right down - far cheaper than joining a mixed boat.
  • Manta day put divers and snorkellers in the same water, the highlight everyone shared.
