Strong currents/surge, exposed location near open sea, wreck penetration risks, sharp broken metal; note site is sometimes confused with the unrelated ship "Californian"

Permits & fees

No dive permit/marine park tag required in Aruba (unlike Bonaire's STINAPA system)
