Terms of Service

Last updated 30 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Manta, operated by Manta Travel Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By using Manta, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Manta, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who can use Manta

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least the minimum age required by applicable law) to create an account. Trips that involve minors are subject to additional safeguards and the consent of a responsible adult.

3. Your account

We use passwordless, magic-link sign-in tied to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Using Manta

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Manta to plan and manage group trips, subject to these terms. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create — trips, wishlists, plans, surveys, documents, journal entries, and messages. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, display, and process that content so we can operate the service and share it with the people you invite to your trip.

You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it. Do not upload content that infringes others’ rights or that you do not have permission to share.

6. Acceptable use

When using Manta, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, or infringe the rights (including privacy and intellectual-property rights) of others.
  • Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt or probe the service or its security.
  • Misuse other people’s personal data, or send spam or unwanted messages through the service.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the service except as permitted by law.

7. Third-party services & links

Manta may link to or surface third-party services (for example, destinations, activities, or booking providers). We do not control those services and are not responsible for them; your dealings with them are governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Service availability & changes

Manta is offered on an evolving basis and we may add, change, or remove features. We may also suspend or limit the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Manta helps you organise trips; it does not provide travel, financial, legal, or insurance advice, and we are not a travel agent or a party to any booking you make with a third party.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You can stop using Manta and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
