Snorkelling

Not a snorkel site - Not typically snorkelled - boat-only access and depth profile better suited to scuba; some shallower coral sections near the surface could be viewed by strong snorkellers on very calm days but this is not a marketed snorkel site

Safety notes

Wall/drop-off profile requires good buoyancy control; surf-zone boat launch and retrieval; weather-dependent boat access

iSimangaliso Wetland Park gate/conservation fee (~R30 adult + R5 levy per person, waived with Wild Card except levy); vessel launch fee ~R100 per boat
