Permits & fees

Site lies inside Cap de Creus Natural Park marine reserve. Per the park's Pla Rector d'Ús i Gestió (PRUG): recreational diving 'requiere autorización previa (centros o particulares) y cumplir normativa vigente'. Dive centers must be officially registered, use appropriate vessels, give a mandatory eco-briefing, track dives via the GeoBlau vessel system, and file monthly activity reports (two operator tiers: Group A daily access, Group B capped at 2 dives/week and 20/year). Individual (unguided) divers must notify park authorities and are capped at 6 dives/day, 30/week, 120/year. Beginner/initiation courses are banned in fishing-restricted zones; night dives need specific written justification/approval. Touching or removing marine life, archaeological remains or fishing gear is prohibited.
