Advanced Open Water - advanced conditions (currents/depth); dive within your training.

Not a snorkel site - no

Safety notes

Strong/unpredictable drift currents (risk of diver separation), boat traffic, occasional low visibility; sharks and turtles are ESA/state protected - no touching or feeding. CONTESTED: a separate baited shark-feeding operation in the broader Jupiter area (Emerald Charters, at the Esso Bonaire wreck) has drawn criticism from other local operators and a 2015 misdemeanor conviction for illegal feeding in state waters - this is a DIFFERENT site from Jupiter Ledges, which mainstream operators describe as a natural, non-baited encounter

Permits & fees

Florida law prohibits feeding/attracting sharks or marine life from a dive vessel within 3 nautical miles of shore; no specific park entrance fee identified for this offshore site

Permits and operators change - confirm before booking.
