Fire coral/stinging hydroids, occasional crown-of-thorns starfish patches, marine stinger (box jellyfish/Irukandji) season roughly Oct-May requiring stinger suits at the surface; sharks present pose very low risk if unprovoked; strict no-touch/no-collect Marine Park zone rules
