Snorkelling

Not a snorkel site - No - wreck too deep for snorkeling (deck starts ~15m); Fathom Five snorkeling directed to shallow sites like 'China' (3m) instead

Safety notes

Cold water/hypothermia risk, thermoclines, penetration/entanglement (silt, fishing line) inside wreck, boat traffic near mooring, NDL limits at 90-100ft depth

Permits & fees

Parks Canada Fathom Five: daily diver registration ~$6.25/person or annual ~$24; register at Tobermory Visitor Centre or a dive shop before diving; separate general park admission fee (adult ~$10/day) may also apply - VERIFY exact current bundling
