Snorkelling

Not a snorkel site - Limited - Giannis D's mast and bow area (as shallow as 3-4m) can be snorkeled in calm conditions, but not generally set up as a snorkel destination

Safety notes

Wreck penetration hazards (silt-out, disorientation, unstable/collapsing structure especially Chrisoula K, sharp rusted metal, fallen beams); entanglement risk from old fishing net/monofilament line and cargo debris; broken glass bottles littering the Carnatic's holds; strong/unpredictable currents at the reef's northern corner; frequent rough surface chop (historic shipping hazard); heavy day-boat and liveaboard traffic on popular wrecks

Not one of Egypt's officially gazetted marine protectorates (unlike Ras Mohammed or The Brothers); a general Red Sea Governorate diving tax has historically applied (small per-diver/day figure, likely outdated) typically bundled into trip cost - '-', VERIFY
