Collapsed and unstable structure; it is possible to swim/descend directly into a cargo hold without realising it (disorientation risk); hold cargo consisted of iron ore pellets; strong currents; considerable depth and size (300m/89,438 gross tons - one of the largest wrecks in Europe)

Permits & fees

No diver permit required for recreational diving; the wreck is privately owned (there was historical controversy over salvage/commercial access, not diver permits)
