Snorkel-friendly - Yes - this is the primary activity at the site; easy shore entry from Blue Bay public beach or via guided boat tour; equipment rental available; designated snorkel zones recommended due to boat traffic

Safety notes

Boat traffic outside designated buoyed zones is a noted snorkeling hazard; reef degradation reported in parts since ~2013; occasional strong currents in some zones; touching/standing on coral and feeding fish is prohibited and patrolled

Permits & fees

No entry fee to the beach/park itself; commercial glass-bottom-boat and snorkel/dive excursions charge per-person fees (roughly EUR18-28 / ~500 MUR per person); 15+ commercial operators hold official permits to run activities inside the Marine Park and boat skippers need special authorization - no specific published National Parks and Conservation Service (NPCS) fee schedule was found
