Permits & fees

Narvik Havn (port authority) currently requires a permit for any diving within 100m of protected war wrecks and within the inner harbour, under section 6 of the harbour ordinance; an administration fee applies and requests go through Maritime Operations; wrecks are additionally protected under Norway's Cultural Heritage Act (narvikhavn.no, live 2025 source)
