Safety notes
Mild to strong currents around the pinnacle; anchoring/mooring prohibited (protected sanctuary), so boats hold position or use buoys; leopard sharks are easily disturbed - maintain distance and no touching
Permits & fees
Declared a marine sanctuary by Thai Fisheries Department in 1992 with a 2.5km no-fishing/no-collection radius; not a national park - no dive entrance fee currently charged (unlike Similan/Phi Phi)
