Snorkelling

Not a snorkel site - Not typically snorkelled at the Knoll Pins themselves (submerged offshore pinnacles with tidal exposure); Lundy's dedicated seal snorkelling/swimming takes place at calmer inshore spots such as Gannet's Bay/the Landing Bay

Safety notes

100m no-anchor/no-shotline restriction around the pinnacles; submerged rocks break the surface at low tide requiring careful navigation; currents strengthen away from slack water; general Bristol Channel boat traffic

Permits & fees

No specific per-dive permit for the Knoll Pins, but the Lundy Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) byelaws/zoning scheme apply (no-take zones in parts of the MPA); a Landmark Trust landing fee applies only if setting foot on the island itself, not for boat-based diving
